Come join us for this monthly class where we wind down after the week and align ourselves with our bodies and the natural rhythms of the moon. Using floor bases Yin Yoga poses, meditation, breath exercises, essential oils and Reiki. This is a deeply restorative class encouraging you to connect with your innermost self. Full moons are powerful and help you to see what is coming to fruition-in your thoughts, wishes, energy, soul desires, and deepest success cravings. Expect to shift energy, create new openings, and be part of a group of individuals ready to connect with each other in a grounded and authentic way. Not your avarage Friday night ! This Iyengar yoga class is for everyone who would like to try yoga, but doesn’t think it’s for them. Iyengar yoga is truly ‘yoga for all’. Through the use of props, focus on alignment and precise instructions, you will learn to truly inhabit your body, as it becomes gradually straighter, stronger and leaner. Poppy is a Level 2 Certified Iyengar Yoga teacher, teaching in and around South East London. She got into yoga as a way to survive motherhood and has now found that yoga has got into her.

In this class we will explore the connection between breath and movement, body and mind. Building strength, flexibility, balance and having fun! Be prepared for creative Sun Salutations, challenging asanas, pranayama and relaxation.
Marcela is a 500 hours Certified Yoga Alliance teacher. She studied in the Indian Himalayas, and has spent time with the Tibetan community in Dharamsala deepening her studies in Buddhism. Marcela believes that attention to alignment is key to a safe and beneficial Yoga practice.

Pilates can be taught to all and may be tailored to the individual. It reconditions the fragile and the injured or challenges the fittest. Pilates helps us reconnect body and mind; to realign and keep us strong. Classes are dynamic and highly rewarding, sometimes incorporating small Pilates equipment. Dianes classes are mixed, with an enthusiastic male following.
Diane has been teaching Pilates since certifying in Body Control Pilates in 2005 and is a highly experienced teacher. The seated class on Friday at 13.00 is for people who are less able to work on a mat. For example an elder person or someone with an injury. Please call Diane for more information.

This pregnancy yoga class is suitable for both beginners and those with more experience. Yoga can help women enjoy their pregnancy with minimal discomfort, cultivate breath awareness and strengthen the body in preparation for labour. Yoga also offers you the opportunity to connect with your baby, and coming to classes is a great way to feel part of a community of pregnant women.
Carla teaches pre and post-natal yoga. Passionate about yoga as the perfect way to grow stronger, more flexible and resilient, both on and off the mat, Carla has studied varied yoga practices for over 10 years and drawing from these teachings and her knowledge of anatomy and physiology, she creates a friendly, relaxed and welcoming class that will build strength, flexibility, and re-balance body and mind.

Gabrielle's yoga class is aimed to help you develop strength and fluidity, feel a healthy and natural alignment of your spine and whole body, and find more freedom and ease within yourself. Yoga enhances a deeper connection to the breath through practice. This generates an inner clarity and vital calm. These classes are open to all. Explore simple and also more complex poses, with attention on developing greater body awareness and finding lightness and space within your yoga practice. Gabrielle has trained in the Scaravelli Inspired approach and with Yoga Elder Sama Fabian. Gabrielle is our most experienced yoga teacher. This class is aimed at mothers who are looking for some much-needed headspace and a yoga practice with a friendly group of local mothers, whether you’re new to yoga or coming back to it postnatally. You’ll experience rejuvenating yoga to strengthen your body and calm your mind, with more restorative poses and relaxation at the end.
Chloe is a 200 hours registered Yoga Alliance teacher and a certified Birthlight Postnatal Yoga Teacher, and started Stretched Mums Yoga in 2016. She teaches yoga with an emphasis on breath awareness and being present in your body, and loves teaching mums in the amazing community of Crystal Palace.
