Tuesday Morning : 09.45-10.45 am
This Iyengar yoga class is for everyone who would like to try yoga, but doesn’t think it’s for them. Iyengar yoga is truly ‘yoga for all’. Through the use of props, focus on alignment and precise instructions, you will learn to truly inhabit your body, as it becomes gradually straighter, stronger and leaner. Poppy is a Level 2 Certified Iyengar Yoga teacher, teaching in and around South East London. She got into yoga as a way to survive motherhood and has now found that yoga has got into her.
Sunday am 09.30-10.45
Starting Sunday 19th September for 6 weeks.
An uplifting 75 minutes to make you feel alive and connected to your body. There’ll be revitalising movement patterns, subtle strengthening, imagery to aid our movement and understanding of our anatomy, self-touch, self-massage, voice work and a long rest.
We’ll focus on feeling with and in the body instead of just thinking about what our body is doing. This can sometimes feel like serious self-inquiry, sometimes light and silly and sometimes both, but there will definitely be space in each class for play and fun.
f you’re unable to make a session you’re welcome to pass it on to a friend, or Chloe will do her best to sell on your place to someone else. One-off classes depending on availability, please register your interest.
